It falls each year on 20 June and shines a light on the rights, needs and dreams of those forced to flee. This year, World Refugee Day focuses on solidarity with refugees. Solidarity means honouring refugees not just with words but with actions. It means listening to them and making space for their stories. It means defending their right to seek safety and finding solutions to their plight, ending conflicts so they can return home in safety. It means ensuring they have opportunities to thrive in the communities that have welcomed them and providing countries with the resources they need to include and support refugees. On World Refugee Day, Circle Green honours refugees around the world and recognises the strength and courage of those forced to flee their home countries to escape persecution or serious human rights violations. We remain committed to raising awareness of the challenges refugees face and standing up for their rights, needs and dreams. Through legal advice and assistance, we continue to advocate for the right to seek safety, helping people navigate the complex asylum seeker application and appeals processes.
