Workplace Sexual Harassment and Active Bystander training

This workshop offers a valuable opportunity to learn about workplace sexual harassment and the important role of an active bystander in contributing to safer, more respectful workplaces for all.  

Who is this training for?

This training is suitable for everyone. 

What will I learn?

Learning outcomes include:

  • The ability to define and identify workplace sexual harassment;
  • An understanding of the gendered drivers of violence;
  • An understanding of the nature and impact of workplace sexual harassment in Australia using lived experience stories; and
  • Practical skills to promote safe, appropriate bystander action to challenge and work to prevent workplace sexual harassment.

 How long is the session?

This session runs for 3.5 hours, inclusive of a 15-minute break. 

Facilitated session delivery includes:

  • A PowerPoint presentation;
  • Discussions, practice activities and other interactive activities/roleplays; and
  • Work booklets with information on workplace sexual harassment, including useful resources and support services for attendees to take away.

Cost

Based on our capacity, we are currently able to offer this training session for free to select organisations, with a focus on non-profit and community workers.
