Our Humanitarian team is committed to providing accessible legal information and values an inclusive community where people new to Australia understand their rights and are treated with equality and dignity.  

There are different ways in which you can become an Australian citizen. If you hold a permanent residency visa in Australia or are a New Zealand citizen living in Australia, you may be eligible to apply for Australian citizenship.
